Children’s Ministry

VISION 

To be a biblically functioning community of Believers,

that teaches and models for children

how to become fully devoted Lovers and Followers of Jesus

MISSION

To supplement the family in reaching kids and helping them to become fully devoted Lovers and Followers of Jesus.

We are not a substitute for the family; the Bible states the family shoulders the primary responsibility for kid’s spiritual growth.

“Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”(Eph. 5:1-2)

GOALS: How To Help Kids Become FULLY DEVOTED

THE 5G’s

Grace: kids will know salvation is needed by all people & will be given opportunity to ask Jesus to meet this need.  In turn, they will extend God’s invitation of grace to others around them.

Growth: kids will live a Christ-centered life by practicing basic spiritual disciplines such as worship, Bible study & prayer.

Groups: kids will grow through a safe, small group community.

Gifts: kids will explore own gifts & observe adults using their gifts.

Good Stewardship: kids will learn that everything we have belongs to God so we need to honor Him by wisely managing and using resources of time, gifts, talents, money, etc.
