Summer of Love: In, The Necessity of Community
We use this word "community" a lot in Christian circles, but do we truly understand what that word means? What is Christian Community? Do we need it? Maybe the more important question is does the greater Christian Community (ie the Church) need us?

Inappropriate expectations and the skeletons of kings (Our hope is in God alone)
How often we find ourselves putting our hope in things that will ultimately always disappoint us. Whether its a relationship, a job, an opportunity, or a pay raise - at the end of the day don't all of these things still leave us wanting something deeper and more profound? We will continue our "At the Movies" series with a look at the film "Where the Wild Things Are" Psalm 62:5, Psalm 20, 1 Corinthians 13:8-13

Practical Atheist Part 3
In this, our 3rd week of the "Practical Atheist" series, Nate explores the idea of Relational Atheism. How can we claim to love a God who is inherently relational and who created humankind to share the joy of community and fellowship and yet still treat one another with contempt and disrespect? Faith is being relationally connected to God the Father through the adoption that comes from believing in His Son Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:4-6) and yet sometimes we miss the idea that becoming more Christlike might actually change the way that we go about relationships. We'll explore how Christ wants us to wake up and become relationally alive and vibrant in the areas of conflict, consistency, and sexuality.
